Victory for Victory Forge Military Academy

Port St. Lucie, FL - The state prosecutor has dropped all child abuse charges against the Victory Forge Military Academy after the DCF investigation was completed and found no evidence that a crime was committed. According to WPBF, DCF wanted to close the school based on what they found as recently as Monday because of the way the boys are treated at the military academy.
According to the school this is exactly the kind of treatment the parents sign their kids up for when they enroll them in the academy. It isn’t meant to be easy for them, it’s meant to take them out of their element and snap them into shape. The boy who ran away made claims that instructors at the school choked him and there have also been claims that feces has been smeared on the boys’ faces. Both claims are apparently unfounded and no evidence could be found to support any allegations that the school or it’s instructors did any wrong.
We have to remember that these boys are no angels going in. They aren’t necessarily bad kids but they do lack respect for themselves and others. This school and others like it are a God send for troubled teens who need guidance and role models to look up to. Many of the boys who were previously attending the school are already starting to return.
