A few weeks ago a story ran about Smokin’ Em charters running a topless charter service out of Fort Pierce City Marina. Today one of the girls, 30 year old Tiffany, was released today from her ‘day job’ as a biology teacher at Port Saint Lucie Highschool.
Tiffany is a divorced mother of three young children and has recently joined the charter service to make some extra money on the side. She says she makes about two hundred dollars a day plus tips for going out on the boat to fish and says she won’t go topless. So why was she fired?
The Saint Lucie County schoolboard isn’t saying. They are claiming their right to release without a reason and are keeping their mouths shut about it. A local news station got a hold of Tiffany’s latest review and found that she received marks that meet or exceeds the standard set by the schoolboard.

i hope your state has a sunshine law on public proceedings, of which school board meetings are included. if not, check for a freedom of information law. don’t forget, this is YOUR government, and you are entitled to know how and why decisions are made. these are elected officials and if they would prefer to remain incumbent they will have to publicly answer some questions. raise a fuss, do some letter-writing, call the local tv stations, and get this single mother her job back.
More info was released today from the school board stating that she had missed 30 days of work already this year and had been reprimanded twice for it. After the last reprimand she missed another day and they hired a substitute teacher to replace her for the remainder of the year. She still says that isn’t the real reason because other teachers had missed even more work than her and they weren’t fired.
